A project of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and Millennium Foundation Kosovo (MFK) aiming to accelerate business investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency in Kosovo. GROW provides technical assistance for businesses in Kosovo in the first place, while it is also supported with a new credit guarantee window provided by the main institutional partner The Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF).

Unstable supply with electricity has consistently been considered a major cost to businesses in Kosovo. With the recent energy crisis in Europe, this burden has become even greater for Kosovo’s economy. The GROW trained more than 250 businesses around Kosovo to understand the technical and financial details of investing in solar energy and become independent power producers or auto-producers.

Raising awareness and outreach was one of the main tasks of this project. The team crafted an inspiring brand identity and a two-wave communications campaign including PR, digital, event management and traditional media. It resulted in a tremendous interest from the business community to embrace renewable energy and invest in solar systems in the upcoming period.
